This reissue brings back a wonderfully free-form 1976 set from Eduardo Araujo and Silvinha, where Bahian rhythm, Brazilian psychedelia, funk and rock keep crossing into each other. It has that slightly unruly, fully alive feel that suits the material, with the two versions of Capoeira showing just how central rhythm and motion are to the album's identity.
There is plenty of bite in Sou Filho Deste Chao and Circulo Vicioso, but the record never settles into one lane for long. A strong shout for anyone digging deeper into Brazilian LPs beyond the obvious titles.
