Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn turn Shakespeare's characters and stories into a vivid 1957 jazz suite. Rich brass voicings, nimble orchestral swing and sharply drawn moods move from the dramatic title piece to the lyrical The Star Crossed Lovers. This limited 180g audiophile pressing restores the twelve-part original programme.
