Chants Down Babylon finds Don Cavalli reshaping reggae classics in his own rough-edged style, pulling the songs through blues, rockabilly and late-night bar-band grit without losing their backbone. It is a small record with plenty of character - loose in the right places, soulful in the vocal delivery, and full of affection for the source material. 'Black Starliner' and 'Fire Fire' are the standouts, but the whole EP hangs together beautifully.

Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
