On Cendre, Derniere Volonte move through stark industrial electronics and melancholy melodies, shaping a world of clipped rhythms, measured vocals and dark, slow-burning atmosphere. 'Harmonies Du Soir' sets the tone, while the longer 'Ombres' and 'Contre Jour' allow the mood to deepen. This limited pressing comes on translucent ice crystal blue vinyl, an apt visual match for the record's glacial textures.
