David Bedford's Early Works draws together eight compositions from his formative period, spanning adventurous choral writing, poetry settings and collaborations at the meeting point of modern classical music and British experimental rock.
The programme features Peter Pears on 'The Tentacles of the Dark Nebula' and 'The Garden of Love' with Kevin Ayers and the Whole World, alongside Robert Wyatt, Lol Coxhill and Mike Oldfield. This Gonzo/Greyscale edition presents all eight pieces on one CD.
