Character Actor takes Darryl Kissick's songwriting into instrumental territory, with an intimate mix of acoustic guitar, tape-warped ambience and rough-edged interruptions. Shaped during recovery from an injury, it trades busy arrangements for patient, cinematic space. 'Ephemeral' stretches that hushed atmosphere across eight minutes. This limited clear smoke pressing comes with a printed insert.
