The Fish That Learned To Drown is the fourth album from Dan O'Farrell & The Difference Engine, a reflective set where indie folk, soft-focus alternative pop and lyrical melancholy sit side by side. The writing is intimate without turning inward, and songs like Heartbreak Hostel, Cyanide Desire and Goodbye give the record its quiet pull. The title track lands as a late emotional centre, making the whole LP reward a full side-to-side listen.
