Madrigal, from 2004, brings Chihiro Yamanaka together with bassist Larry Grenadier and drummer Jeff Ballard. The trio's musical conversation is agile and assured, moving from Yamanaka's own compositions to sparkling interpretations of 'Caravan' and 'Take Five'. Brazilian colour surfaces in 'Salve Salgueiro', adding another dimension to this early high point of her discography. Now back on vinyl, the album rewards close listening as much as its rhythmic drive.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
