Blu and producer Sndtrak centre LA on the sound and stories of Los Angeles hip hop. G-funk bass, synthesiser lines and tightly cut samples underpin Blu's city-focused verses, while guests including ICECOLDBISHOP, Cashus King and Thurz add to the album's West Coast cast.
