First issued in 1986, The Rope established Black Tape For A Blue Girl's haunting meeting point between gothic songwriting and ambient textures. This 40th anniversary double LP offers the original mix newly remastered on the first record, followed by a distinct 2026 mix on the second. Coloured vinyl makes the two interpretations a particularly fitting way to revisit the group's debut.
