On In Between Highs, Baril blurs the borders between deep house, hazy downtempo and reflective electronic pop. Short, luminous pieces flow into fuller rhythmic stretches, giving the album the feel of a late-summer journey rather than a sequence of club tools. Sunshine, When You're Ready and the title track capture its soft-focus mix of warmth and melancholy. Pressed on clear vinyl.
