The Foreign Department balances wiry guitar pop with a real sense of dislocation, which gives Astrel K's second album more emotional weight than its easy melodic surface first suggests. The songs are concise, but they never feel slight - Heavy Is The Head, the title track and Daffodil all carry that mix of movement, unease and understated hooks the record does so well. It is a sharp indie rock album about distance, drift and trying to steady yourself while everything around you keeps shifting.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
