Allan Bryant made his own amplified string instruments to find sounds conventional guitars could not reach. First heard in 1977, Space Guitars turns strings and electricity into whirring, rattling drones without synthesisers or tape effects. This expanded double LP carries his cosmic experiments across four sides, from Whirling Take-off to the long-form Insect Takeover.
