Built in Lagos around Adebowale Osunnibu's saxophone and a younger band of Pioneers, Kilofese keeps Afrobeat's political bite and rhythmic drive intact. Cascading horns and commanding vocals push 'African Culture' and the title track forward, while the measured groove of 'Ajo' opens up a different space. This six-cut 12-inch closes with a Bamia remix.
