Originally released in 1986, Force shows A Certain Ratio sharpening their mix of post-punk, funk and dancefloor mechanics into something lean and immediate. The record is full of dry rhythm, clipped brass and hard-edged hooks, with Only Together, Bootsy and Mickey Way hitting especially well. A key later Factory-era album, reissued here on yellow vinyl.

SIDE ONE:
1. Only Together
2. Bootsy
3. Fever
4. Naked & White

SIDE TWO:
1. Mickey Way
2. And Then She Smiles
3. Take Me Down
